ALHS Meeting for December 2018

We are now at the close of another year and are really pleased to say the Appledore History Society Website is now fully a year old.  We hope you have enjoyed reading the news, articles and attending ALHS events.

As always we are keen for new members to join us, so please do come along if you can.

As it says on the Home Page, we usually meet at the Methodist Hall, but in celebration of Christmas being just around the corner, we have decided to retire to The Black Lion for our last meeting of the year.  No formality, just an opportunity to meet and chat about the year and what has been achieved.  Perhaps even discuss what we hope to do in 2019.

If you have thought about joining, but haven’t quite got ‘a round tuit’, why don’t you pop along to see us in the Black Lion and say hello?  We will be in the corner at the front of the pub, around by the bar. You probably know most of us anyway, you just didn’t know we were members of the Society.

So with nothing to lose and hopefully a lot to gain, we look forward to seeing you there.
