Welcome to the Appledore Local History Society
Appledore is a village situated in Kent, England. The name Appledore comes from the old English Apuldre (meaning apple tree) and is first recorded in the 10th Century.
The Appledore Local History Society meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month, in the Methodist Hall in Appledore, at 7.00 pm – all welcome!
