Vikings – The Invasion & Occupation of Appledore & Neighbouring Areas
The Appledore Local History Society have invited Dr Stuart Brookes – UCL Institute of Archaeology Author of The Kingdom and People of Kent, AD 400-1066: Their History and Archaeology to deliver a talk about the Viking invasion and occupation of Appledore and surrounding areas.
Open to Appledore residents and anyone else wishing to attend and not to be missed, if you are interested in local history. Tickets only obtainable in advance @ £5.00 each (includes refreshments).
