A Kiwi Drops In

Hear the amazing story of a WW2 Kiwi Pilot who was shot down in the Battle of Britain and landed by parachute in Kent.

Research has shown that James Chilton Francis Hayter, DFC and Bar, escaped death 19 times through shoot-ups, crashes and an incredible escape from the German army.

Geoff Piper, a retired physics teacher will be presenting a fully illustrated, interesting and highly entertaining insight into the wartime service life of Jim Hayter, including colourised black and white photographs and some AI to bring them to life.escaped death 19 times through shoot-ups, crashes and an incredible escape from the German army.
