Policy re Financial Management – (May 2024)
Appledore Local History Society receives its funding from Annual Membership Fees, Donations and Events we organise for that purpose. Currently the annual membership fee is £15 payable at our AGM in April of each year.
All monies to be spent requires approval by a majority of the Membership. Monies are held in a NatWest bank account, which requires two signatures to approve payment, the Chair and the Treasurer.
The Treasurer presents Membership with a monthly update on activity and balances.
